On the morning of July 27, 2022, the scientific and technological achievement of "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Digital Manufacturing of Steel Cord" developed by Shandong Daye Co., Ltd. successfully passed the expert appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

The appraisal committee is composed of 9 expert leaders, including Zhang Liqun, academician and vice president of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Zhang Song, professor of Shandong University. Wang Yimin, director of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, presides over the meeting.

We have designed and developed equipment networking data collection technology and information production management system to address the problems of key processes, multiple process parameters, and difficult state control in steel curtain lines. This system achieves interconnectivity between "process islands" and "information islands"; We have developed digital control and linkage technologies for processes such as steel cord pretreatment, stretching, electroplating, wet stretching, and twisting, which have improved the precision control level of the production process; We have designed and developed an automated detection technology for residual torsional force of steel curtain lines, which has improved detection efficiency and accuracy. We have further developed intelligent packaging and factory logistics technology for steel curtain lines, achieving transportation safety and reducing logistics costs. This achievement has successfully achieved the digital manufacturing of steel cord, significantly improving production efficiency and product quality consistency compared to traditional processes, significantly reducing production costs and energy consumption, and achieving significant economic and social benefits.
