The 32nd Annual Meeting of ISO/TC17/SC17 "Wire Rod and Wire" and its subordinate working group meetings were successfully held in Brussels, Belgium from June 6th to 8th, 2023. Zhang Longqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute, presided over the annual meeting as the Chairman. 23 representatives from 7 countries including Belgium, France, Sweden, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and China attended the meeting. Assistant General Manager Pan Lei, Head of Tire Ring Technology Department Dou Yanjun, and Deputy Head of Overseas Business Department Zhang Yulong represented the company at the meeting.

At the meeting, ISO/TC17/SC17 summarized last year's work, awarded the ISO Excellent Reward for 2022, and invited ISO/TPM to explain ISO guidelines.

With the rapid development of China's metal products industry, the breadth and depth of Chinese experts' participation in ISO/TC17/SC17 international standardization work are also constantly expanding. At this meeting, the project led by China progressed smoothly and achieved the expected results of the meeting. The ISO/AWI 16650 "Bead Wire" led by the company has been advanced to the WD stage, and a working group meeting will be organized to further discuss technical opinions.

This conference adopts a combination of online and on-site meetings to promote international standardization work. Daye Group will continue to strengthen its connections with the Secretariat and the Committee, and participate more in the formulation and research and development of international standards, making its own contributions to the progress and development of the industry.
