On September 14th, Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. held a user symposium on Baosteel long materials titled "Setting Sail on a New Journey, Building Achievements in a New Era". At the meeting, Dou Yong, Chairman of Daye Group, signed a low-carbon strategic cooperation agreement with Guo Xiaolong, Assistant General Manager of Baosteel Group and General Manager of the Steel Pipe and Strip Division. Dou Yong, Chairman of Daye Group, delivered a speech as a special guest.

Chairman Dou Yong expressed gratitude to Baosteel Group for its trust, support, and assistance to Daye Group over the years. Especially this year, with the support of Baosteel Group, Daye Group has achieved the production and application of 60% recycled iron green wire rods, ahead of schedule to achieve the sustainable development goal of 40% recycled material application by 2030 as required by the world's top tire manufacturers. This higher proportion of green products has been highly recognized by many high-end customers in Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and other countries.

Looking ahead to the future, Daye Group will continue to strengthen its deep cooperation with Baosteel Group, not satisfied with the current achievements, and work together to mass produce low-carbon products containing 80% recycled iron before 2025.
