On April 22nd, Shandong Daye Robot Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed a development service agreement with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications on the exploration of tendon materials and perception functions for humanoid robots. The significance of this school enterprise cooperation is extraordinary. Both parties will integrate their respective advantageous resources and devote themselves to the research and innovation of humanoid robot tendon technology, striving to promote technological innovation and product upgrading in the industry.
Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as a leading institution in the field of information and communication, has achieved remarkable results in scientific research innovation and talent cultivation. The school has multiple national level research platforms and, with its strong research capabilities, has achieved remarkable results in fields such as artificial intelligence and materials science.
According to the intention cooperation agreement signed by both parties, a joint research and development team will be formed to jointly explore the research and development of tendon materials for humanoid robots and the innovation of sensing functions. The goal of the R&D team is to significantly improve the strength, flexibility, and durability of tendon materials, enabling them to further adapt to the complex and diverse motion requirements of humanoid robot dexterous hands and other joints. In the field of perception functions, both parties will jointly explore the application of new perception technologies on key components of humanoid robots.
The company will take this project cooperation as a starting point, strive to carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with BUPT in emerging industries, actively promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research, and build a good ecology driven by innovation and coordinated development.
